Bringing sledge hockey to teams around Edmonton

Sledge hockey is a fast-paced and exciting sport that uses the same rules as stand-up hockey. Players sit in sleds and propel themselves across the ice using two sticks with picks at the ends. While it’s one of the most popular Paralympic sports, it’s not always accessible to everyone—our mission is to change that!

Our goal is to give teams in Edmonton and the surrounding areas the opportunity to experience sledge hockey firsthand. This initiative is perfect for minor hockey teams, ringette teams, teacher professional development days, team building events, and more.

We provide all the necessary sledge hockey equipment (up to 28 sledges), along with expert coaching and instruction. Each session includes an introduction to sledge hockey, equipment orientation, skill-building drills, and a fun scrimmage to bring it all together.

**Pricing:**

- 2-hour session at Meadows Rec Centre (West Rink preferred): $450 (includes 28 sets of equipment and up to two trained instructors)

- Add additional time: $150 per extra hour (up to 6 hours total)

- Need more than 28 sledges? Extra sledges are $20 each

**Want us to come to your rink?**

All the above, plus travel fees:

- $185 per day for van rental

- $30 per hour for staff travel time

- $0.70/km for additional mileage beyond 65 km round trip from our office
